Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif get together for Bigg Boss 4

This hottest Bollywood couple have always made headlines about their on-off relationship. However, unlike other couples, who bicker in public, Sallu and Kat have decided to keep let bygones be bygones and come together to entertain audiences and housemates alike in Bigg Boss season 4.

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Salman and Katrina are no longer romantically linked, but that doesn’t stop them from coming together for a good cause.

The reigning queen of item girls, Katrina Kaif, will enter the Bigg Boss house to promote her next film, Tees Maar Khan. She will be accompanied by director-choreographer and Salman’s latest best friend Farah Khan.

The ladies of the house, who have been asked to prepare dance performances on Munni Badnaam Hui and Sheila Ki Jawaani, have no clue that Katrina aka Sheila is the new queen of item girls. Katrina and Farah will judge the dance performances and declare the winners.

Buzz is that if Katrina is unhappy with a performance, she will surely shake her belly and teach some quick moves to the housemates.

The Tees Maar Khan special episode will be telecast Saturday.

Salman Khan: His latest brush with Aishwarya Rai

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai have always maintained a distance ever since their relationship soured following a public spat between Salman and Vivek Oberoi.

After that image-tarnishing scandal, Aish and Salman are no longer on speaking terms and the scars are as fresh as ever with no respite in sight. Recently, Aishwarya skipped touring the Bigg Boss house (to promote Guzaarish) as Salman was anchoring it. She even stayed away from ‘Action Replayy’ promotion in KBC because the crew members were playing for the benefit of ‘Being Human’ charity which was a Salman Khan initiative.

In short, the two try to keep miles away from each other. But in the latest episode, Salman has shown his Dabangg side once again by organising a special screening of Aishwarya’s latest film ‘Guzaarish’.

Salman and Guzaarish director Sanjay Leela Bhansali are close friends and the film-maker wanted an honest opinion from Sallu about his latest celluloid outing. And Salman not only humbly accepted the request but also organised the screening for his entire family.

Salman, of course, was very touched and overwhelmed by what he saw. And even though, he never mentions her openly, he must have silently applauded his former love for her brilliant portrayal of Sophia the nurse.

Salman Khan refuses Sonakshi Sinha

October 9 is the day when all the Bollywood top actresses could be seen walking the ramp for Salman Khan’s event-Being Human pageant but it’s strange to hear that his recent favourite co-star and a very good friend, Sonakshi Sinha won’t be able to grab this chance.

This decision has been taken by none other than Salman himself. Getting possessive about Sonakshi, Sallu feels that after tripping off the ramp in Bangalore, she should take some rest and stay away from the ramp for some time.

Even actress’s father Shatrughan Sinha supports Salman’s decision.

A source said, “Sonakshi was very keen to be part of the pageant. Considering all of Salman’s co-stars are participating she certainly didn’t want to be left out. And she is in no way discouraged by what happened in Bangalore last week. But Salman is slightly superstitious about such things. He suggested Sonakshi stay away from the ramp for a while.”

As Sonakshi’s career graph is rising day by day everyone close to her reached this conclusion. One of Sonkshi’s family member quoted “kisi ki nazar na lag jaye.”

Sonakshi herself confirmed the news by saying, “I’ve been supporting Being Human from behind the scenes. I’ll just be a part of the audience. Let me enjoy the show this time.”
Well who knows Sallu is showing his care towards Sonakshi or fear regarding her walk at his event……clever boy!

Salman Khan to sponsor 500 cataract ops

World famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan has agreed to sponsor 500 cataract operations for needy Sri Lankan patients using his private funds, a Health Ministry spokesman said.

According to the spokesman, Khan has held discussions with Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena in this regard.

Five medical professionals will arrive within the next few days with medical equipment and lenses to perform these cataract operations.

The 500 needy patients had been selected from the North and Eastern Provinces including IDPs. Khan will also provide lenses to patients who cannot afford them.

There is a large number of needy eye patients in Sri Lanka who had been recommended for cataract surgeries. Mosts are unable to buy required lenses due to financial difficulties.

Salman Wishes To See ‘I Hate Luv Storys’

Salman Khan has really uplifted Imraan’s confidence, as he wishes to see the movie ‘I Hate Luv Storys’. He already likes the promos and wishes good luck for Imraan.

It is a very important film for Imraan Khan, as his last two movies, Kidnap and Luck failed at the box office. It is a very decisive movie for Imraan’s future in Bollywood.

If at this point of time, superstars like Salman Khan appreciate the naïve actor and movie’s promos, then it is really a big thing for him.

Salman nick names Imraan as ‘Shona’ and says on Twitter “Want to see I Hate Luv Storys. Imraan, Shona dude. Seeing promos and loving it. All the best, dude. Think this is a big one, am happy for you Shona.

Imraan sweetly responded and said “Imran responded, “Thank you so much! Aap ka support hai toh I don’t think we need anything else. Bhai bole hit hai, to hit hona hi hai boss! (If brother says it’s a hit, then it has to be a hit).”

He further added “that he was “truly overwhelmed” and thanked him a “million times”.

The movie is produced by Karan Johar and the movie is assumed to be a unique hit.

Salman Khan Refused to Patch up with Vivek Oberoi

Salman Khan has once again refused to bride up the gap with fellow actor Vivek Oberoi during the IIFA Awards 2010 which recently took place in Sri Lanka. Vivek was the host of the fashion event and was due to introduce Salman Khan on the stage. He even included the phrases like "rockstar of Bollywood" and "man with a golden heart" while introducing Salman.

However, Salman Khan strongly refused the idea of being introduced by his long-time foe. Later, Anil Kapoor took up the microphone to introduce Salman Khan.

It was not the first time Vivek tried to close the difference with Salman Khan whom he once publicly criticized in a press conference. The origin of their bitter relation is Aishwarya Rai who was at some point in the past romantically involved with both the actors.

It has been a long time Aishwarya Rai parted her relationship with both of them and is now the wife of actor Abhishek Bachchan. However, Salman and Vivek could not yet sort out the problems.

The bitterness of their relationship has been so intense that many believe Salman has influenced many directors and producers not to rope in Vivek in their movies.

After a promising performance in his Bollywood debut Company in 2002, Vivek Oberoi is yet to set himself as a leading actor in the industry.

Katrina meets Salman Khan in jail

Katrina visited boyfriend Salman Khan in Jodhpur Jail.

Prisoner no 343 in the central jail in Jodhpur, Salman Khan, had some special visitors on Sunday -- his girlfriend Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and other members of his family.

Katrina arrived in Jodhpur from Mumbai in the afternoon with Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan and sisters Alvira and Arpita to meet the star.

Salman was arrested on Saturday in the wake of a local court rejecting his appeal against a five-year jail term in a poaching case.

Though the jail's visiting hours for the day had ended, the Superintendent allowed Katrina and the others to meet Salman for about half an hour at around 3 pm.
